This year marks the 173rd St. Joe’s Picnic For the Kids and getting together to support the mission of giving children a home.
This year’s event takes place on Friday, August 12 from 5 pm – 10 pm and Saturday, August 13 from Noon to Midnight. Come out to this free, family-friendly event and support St. Joe’s by playing carnival & casino games, enjoying the delicious food & drinks, and bidding on raffle items. Picnic is held on our campus at 2823 Frankfort Avenue, with free parking available onsite. Overflow parking with free shuttle service is also available on Saturday at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary Parking Lot off Grinstead Drive. Friday night includes a live performance by The Crashers. Live music on Saturday by Rearview Mirror. Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind event for a great cause. We can’t wait to see you there!
Pre-Purchase Food & Beverage Tickets
Save time by pre-purchasing your food and beverage tickets online! Our link is live, and when you purchase you have the option to have them mailed to you (if before July 31) or to pick up at will-call (the information booth) from 5-10 PM on August 12th and noon- 11 PM on August 13th. These tickets can also be used at activity booths.

Create Your Own Online Picnic Fundraiser
Some folks can’t make it out to Picnic and would still like to support our event. Online fundraising is a way to let your friends or family, who can’t come out in person, support St. Joe’s by donating to your fundraising page. Instead of, or in addition to, running a booth, being a zone leader, or bringing your family out to play the games, listen to the music, and eat some delicious food — you can support the kids by registering to peer-to-peer fundraise. Share your Picnic stories and why you support St. Joe’s with your network. Invite them to make a gift via your page!
