St. Joe’s plans social gatherings throughout the year for families to engage with each other and build meaningful connections. These events include Foster Parent Appreciation in May, Back to School in July, a Halloween and Christmas party.
St. Joe’s has at least two networking opportunities a month for families that include open forum support groups, training-based support groups and quarterly trainings.
Foster families have the convenience of using our Child Development Center, a daycare for infants through the age of 5. Our Behavioral Health Outpatient Services program, specializing in therapeutic mental health care, is also available for foster children for as long as needed.
