The Therapeutic Foster Care and Adoption program serves children who have been referred by the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services. These children were removed from their families because of abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Our St. Joe’s kids need a safe, secure, and stable home – whether their time with the family is temporary or permanent. Your willingness to help our St. Joe’s kids can be a turning point for them. You can rely on our team of experts to support you through the process.
Commitment is an important part of being an adoptive or foster parent, because we need people who will remain consistent with the child and work with them as they overcome their past traumas. We also want them to understand that it will take some time for the child to function well in their family, but our team of experts keep families on track for success.
