Suzy brings more than 15 years of experience in communications, development, and fundraising to her work with SJ Kids. She has successfully led fundraising campaigns in Louisville on behalf of a variety of organizations, demonstrating a strong commitment to mission-driven work. Suzy holds a Bachelor of Communications and a Master of Science in Human Development and Leadership from Murray State University and was recognized as a 2019 Louisville Business First “People to Know in Nonprofits” honoree.
The sixth of eight siblings, Suzy comes from a close-knit family with deep, multi-generational ties to St. Joe’s. She credits her parents with instilling the values of family, service, and community engagement. “Our parents taught us the importance of family and being active in the community through their actions. They would be so proud to know our family’s work for the children of St. Joe’s continues.”
Outside of work, Suzy enjoys spending time with her four children and four grandchildren, staying active at her favorite gym, caring for her two dogs, and finding peace in her garden.
