What are St. Joe’s Greatest Holiday Needs?

St. Joe’s greatest holiday needs at this time are financial gifts and gift cards. To make a gift directly, click here. For gift cards, General VISA is the best since it can be used anywhere at any time. You may request a list of needed gift cards by emailing info@sjkids.org.

Why are Cash and Gift Card Donations So Important To St. Joe’s Kids?

St. Joe’s kids have unique sensitivities and personalities. The monetary and gift card donations allow St. Joe’s staff and foster parents to get items throughout the year that fit both the children’s sizes and preferences. It also gives the donor the opportunity to provide not only needed items but experiences as well. St. Joe’s staff and families have gotten very creative in how they keep the children engaged throughout the pandemic and being able to purchase a meal from a local restaurant or transforming their space into a mini-movie theater has created many special moments for our children. Those kinds of memories stay with our children for the rest of their lives and are incredibly meaningful to them.

Can I Make a Gift In-Person?

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all in-person donations must be pre-approved by a St. Joe’s Representative. Any item donations brought to St. Joe’s that have not been approved IN ADVANCE will be redirected to another local charity partner.

Can I Shop Online For The Holidays AND Help St. Joe’s Kids?

St. Joseph Children’s Home continues to be a top leader in the state for taking care of children and serves approximately 1,500 children and family members annually throughout three core programs: residential treatment, foster care and adoption, and early childhood development. St. Joe’s kids are diverse in age, race, gender, as well as background, and inspire the staff every day with their successes.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, St. Joe’s is able to continue providing children and families with the highest quality of care.
