Every child deserves safety and love. If you or someone you know suspects abuse, report it here.

We want to be involved in your success.

Community Support Associates help individuals with mental health challenges improve independent living skills and participate in their community. This includes help with developing and strengthening daily living skills, social interactions, vocational skill training, and advocacy.

Does my child need these services?

This service may be beneficial if your child is struggling with maintaining proper hygiene, socialization, or any developmentally appropriate skills for their age and ability.

How we help

Community Support Associates support clients outside of individual therapy sessions. This service offers nonclinical, therapeutically guided interventions that support the clients overall treatment goals. They assist them with skills training, identifying/learning/recognizing symptoms, behavioral support, emotional regulation skill building and development, and medication adherence.

MENTAL HEALTH TIPS

Speak with Love

“You” messages can cause a child to get defensive and defiant. But switching to “We” shows that we are working together to find the best solution.

“How can we get back on task?”

Try this.

“You need to follow instructions.”

Instead of this.
