Kuristan has had a lifelong passion for helping youth and says working at St. Joe’s has contributed to her growth as a professional. “One thing that I love about the work I do at St. Joe’s is that every day presents me with different challenges. I’ve had the opportunity to gain an understanding of my line of work and also progress in my therapeutic role.” A native of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, Kuristan has a bachelors and master’s degree in education. “Working in foster care and behavioral health allows me to work with the youth not only in my community but the youth in my state. I am able to make a difference through providing therapy, psychoeducation, advocacy, and everyday life tools for our clients.”
