Alex has her undergraduate degree from Bellarmine University and a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology from Eastern Kentucky University. She is a clinical psychologist specializing in treatment and assessment of children, adolescents, and families and trauma-related disorders. Alex is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), play therapy, and certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). She is also certified as a Health Service Provider (HSP) by the Kentucky Board of Psychology. “I love the collaborative atmosphere at St. Joe’s – especially within the foster care department. In the agency, the staff are continuously working together to keep the focus on what is best for the children. I enjoy getting to know my clients and foster parents on a personal level. Many families include their St. Joe’s team in their own celebrations and lean on us for support during challenging times.”
