Heather Bruner started her non-profit career nearly 23 years ago working with children in residential care. From there, she transitioned into grant writing and fund development roles working in child welfare, health equity, and human rights.
Heather and her family have been volunteering at the St. Joe’s picnic for over 10 years, and she looks forward to being even more involved this year and driving a golf cart!
In her free time, Heather and her partner, Wesley, enjoy watching college basketball, going out on Frankfort Ave., and spoiling their dog and three cats.
She also enjoys playing pickleball, thrifting, doing yoga, and any time she gets to spend on a boat.
