For 175 years, St. Joseph Children’s Home has stood as a beacon of hope for Kentucky’s most vulnerable children. Since our founding in 1849, we have provided safety, stability, and healing to over 75,000 children who have endured unimaginable trauma. Kentucky ranks among the highest in the nation for child abuse and neglect. Many of the children we serve have endured severe trauma, leading to profound emotional, physical, and developmental challenges. Through our Residential Treatment program, Therapeutic Foster Care and Adoption services, Behavioral Health Outpatient programs, and Child Development Center, we are transforming lives.
