The most popular activity for groups is to run a booth.
Gaming and activity booth options are available for groups of all sizes/ages. Groups who volunteer to run a booth will be recognized on the booth sign as the Volunteer Sponsor.
What is Volunteer Sponsorship?
Volunteer sponsors provide the people power for a picnic booth. All volunteer sponsors are recognized as VOLUNTEER SPONSOR on the booth sign.
How many people are needed to “power” a booth?
It can vary by booth size, but the average number needed for a Small booth is 7-8 people per shift. A Large booth can use up to 12 people and a few special booths can be run with only 2-3 people.
What do I need to know to sign-up my group to run a booth?
If your group would like to run a booth at the Picnic, please contact our Picnic Coordinator, Pam Stone at 502-893-0241, ext. 262, or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org to review available booth options. Please be prepared to answer the following questions:
Approximately how many people will be in your group?
If children are in your group, what are their ages?
Which one of the following time periods is your group available to run your booth:
- Friday 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM AND Saturday Noon – Midnight
- Friday 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Saturday Noon-Midnight
- Saturday Noon – 6:00 PM
- Saturday 5:00 PM – Midnight
Is it possible to be a Booth Sponsor AND a Volunteer Sponsor?
ABSOLUTELY! We have several groups that already do just that! You will be recognized as BOTH on your booth sign. Connect with us and we’ll help you get started on sponsoring a Picnic booth.
