Dr. Barry D. Walker
Executive Director and Director of Development

Barry
received his M.Ed from Xavier
University; and Ed.D. from
the University of Cincinnati.
He has 37 years experience
in setting administrative
and personnel policies and procedures, long-range planning, development
programs and establishing expense controls. Prior to entering the
private sector, he was engaged extensively in fundraising for two
private schools, and was responsible for making presentations to
large and small groups, as well as working with individuals. He
has earned an excellent working reputation based upon dedication,
quality, timelessness and
good personal relations. He is presently involved in the Capital
Campaign, working with a 25 member Board of Trustees at St. Joseph
Children’s Home. His wife, Dr. Karen C. Britt, is a U of L professor
who specializes in Middle Eastern archeology. They moved to Louisville
in 2006 with Sophie, their black lab.

Ms. Bobbi Mattingly
Director, Residential Treatment Program

Bobbi
received her B.A. form Spalding University and M.A. from the University
of Louisville. Her love of children is demonstrated by her service
in the field both in Indiana and Kentucky, including 9 years at
Child Place in Indiana and 2 years with Child Protective Services
in Kentucky.
